Louis David Vaughan

Louis David Vaughan (David) passed away on July 20, 2026, at the age of 65, following a battle with stage 4 colon cancer.

David was born on November 4, 1960, in Ohio, the son of Luva and Dorothy Vaughan. He grew up in Independence, Missouri and was a graduate of Van Horn High School.

David had a bigger-than-life personality. He loved living life to the fullest and was always the life of the party. Above all, he treasured time with his family and friends, and despite life's struggles, he remained a devoted father.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Luva and Dorothy. He is survived by his daughter, Erica Vaughan; his sons, Michael Vaughan and Daniel Vaughan; and his two grandchildren, Dominick and Olive.
