Marguerite Lundquist

Marguerite Lundquist, 89, of Independence, MO passed away on March 31, 2007 at the Rosewood Health Center. A visitation will be held from 7-8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 3, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. The service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the chapel. Burial at Mound Grove Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Groves Hospice or the Eden Heights Community of Christ Building Fund. Marguerite was born on July 15, 1917 in Shawneetown, Illinois. She was a long-time member of the Eden Heights Community of Christ, where she enjoyed teaching Sunday School. Marguerite also spent much time in her garden where she enjoyed watching her beautiful flowers grow. She will be remembered by her family as a mother and grandmother who was always willing to love unconditionally, and for that as well as other great characteristics, she will be dearly missed. Marguerite was preceded in death by her husband, David Harold Lundquist in 2004. She is survived by one daughter, Martha Hamm; two sons, David J. Lundquist and wife Pam, and Robert W. Lundquist and wife Deberah; eleven grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
