Marcele Lychwick

Marcie Lychwick, 88, of Lee’s Summit, MO, formerly of Ft. Dodge, IA, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2008 at St. Luke’s East. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 29, 2008 at the United Methodist Church of Lee’s Summit, 114 SE Douglas, Lee’s Summit, MO 64063. Visitation will be at church prior to the service starting at 9:30 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or to PEO. Private burial will be in Mason City, IA. Marcie was born September 21, 1920 in Garner, IA to Emil and Malinda (Riemer) Blumer. Hers was a life well lived with the grace, dignity, and humility of a beautiful, kind and gentle soul. She is survived by her sons Dean Neuberger, Brad Neuberger and wife Dana; daughter Marolee Neuberger; grandsons David Neuberger and wife Pam, Aaron Neuberger, Travis Neuberger; granddaughter Emily Neuberger; great-grandchildren Samantha and Kyle Neuberger; sister Mildred Blumer-Brager; step-children Jeff Lychwick and wife Ellen, Dan Lychwick and wife Cheryl, Bill Lychwick, Amy Howard and husband Mike; step-granddaughter Laura. She was preceded in death by her husband Ed Lychwick in ’88.
