Mable Clara Christian

Mable Clara Christian, 100 of Blue Springs, MO passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at Aspire Senior Living in Oak Grove, MO.  Cremation is planned and a memorial visitation will be held from 2 to 4:00 p.m., Thursday, July 6, 2023 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64052.  Mable was born June 18, 1923 in Kansas City, MO to Andy I. and Myrtle I. (Thorson) Hill and has been a life long area resident.  She worked for over 30 years for Sears Roebuck Co. in the accounts receivable department.   She was married to Samuel Christian, and they enjoyed many years together until his passing in 1991.  She enjoyed going with her sister to the casinos and spending time with her family.  She is survived by; 3 children, Linda Christian of Blue Springs, MO, John Christian of Sunrise Beach, MO and Dennis Christian of Cole Camp, MO; 6 grandchildren, Kerry, Tara, Tina, Brenna, John and DC and 7 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 siblings and a son, Archie Dean Christian who passed away in March of 2023.
