Anna Jane Mace, 62, Lee’s Summit, MO passed away Nov. 24, 2012. Services will be 10 am, Wed., Nov. 28 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055; interment at Blue Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Tuesday at the chapel. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to Kansas City Hospice, 9221 Ward Pkwy., Kansas City, MO 64114.
Anna was born July 10, 1950 in Chicago, IL. Her family moved to Independence and she graduated from St. Mary’s High School. She worked at Price Chopper in Blue Springs in the Floral Dept. for twelve years. She enjoyed crafts, making greeting cards but most of all loved her grandchildren.
Anna was preceded in death by her husband Michael Mace. She is survived by son Matthew Mace and wife Rachelle, Raytown, MO; daughter Katie Fleetwood and husband Joel, Independence, MO; sister Peggy Forcelli and husband Frank, South Lake, TX; brother Ed Mahon and wife Mary, Sedalia, MO; sisters Colleen Smith and husband Denny, Shawnee, KS; Bridget Smith and husband Kent, Carrollton, TX; grandchildren Zachary Mace, Claire Margaret Mace, Ethan Fleetwood and many nieces and nephews.
