Cynthia Sue Madden, 45, Independence, MO passed away Friday, November 16, 2012.
A visitation celebrating Cynthia’s life will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at Carson-Speaks Chapel; 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64052.
Cynthia was born May 25, 1967 in Kansas City, MO the daughter of Susan Kay (White) Gibbs and Edward D. Gibbs. She was a 1985 graduate of Holden High School, Holden, MO. Cynthia worked as an administrative assistant for 14 years with Children’s Mercy Hospital. She enjoyed camping, going on float trips, playing cards. Cynthia loved the holiday traditions and spending those times with family.
She is survived by her husband, Evan Madden; son Mike Madden; daughters Stephanie Parsley, and Felisha Secrest; grandsons, Joseph Parsley, and Blake Beebe; mother, Susan Kay Gibbs; father, Edward Gibbs; brothers, Franklin and Jason Gibbs; and additional nieces and family.
