Janice Mahl

Janice W. Mahl, 73, of Blue Springs, MO passed away May 29, 2010 at St. Luke’s Hospital. A visitation will be held from 9-10:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 3, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO. A graveside service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Mound Grove Cemetery. Janice was born October 18, 1936 in Kansas City, MO to Carl and Virginia (Elliott) Sanford. She was a beloved teacher and educator in the Kansas City area for over 35 years. Janice was a caring mother and friend, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Mahl. She is survived by two sons, Troy Mahl, Greensboro, NC and Brian Mahl, Alexandria, VA; one daughter, Tracey Mahl, Hawaii; five grandchildren, Jennifer, Josh, Alexander and Abby Mahl, and Ryan Johnson.
