Gary W. Malbaff, 72, of Blue Springs, Mo, passed away, Monday, June 1, 2010 at Monterrey Park Nursing Center. Cremation is planned. The family will host a memorial visitation from 6 to 8:00 p.m., Saturday evening, June 5, 2010 at the Speaks Suburban chapel. Donations may be made to the Blue Springs Hospice House or to Fuzzy Kids. Gary was born December 12, 1937 in Independence, MO to Theodore W. and Helen L. (Rodgers) Malbaff and has been a lifelong area resident graduating from William Chrisman High School in 1955. He had worked as manager of the meat department for Ball’s Hen House in Overland Park, KS for a number of years. He enjoyed working and spending time with his family. He was married to Dian (Gordon) Yardley on August 22, 1978, she survives of the home. Other survivors include: 2 sons, Gary Neal Malbaff of Arizona and Kevin Yardley of Grain Valley, MO; a daughter, Cindy Malbaff- Johnson of Harrisonville, MO; a brother, Ronnie Joe Malbaff of Blue Springs, MO; 5 grandchildren, Zoe Yardley, Amber Turner, Mitchell Turner, Ryan Turner and Erica Ulmer; numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
