Lillian Maniscalco

Lillian M. (Byrd) Maniscalco, 81, of Buckner, MO, passed away, Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Blue Springs, MO. Services will be 2:30 p.m., Saturday, August 8, 2009 at Church of Jesus Christ, Israel’s Gathering. Burial will be in Buckner Hill Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m., Friday evening at the Speaks Buckner Chapel. Donations may be made in her name to Church of Jesus Christ, Israel’s Gathering. Lillian was born July 30, 1928 in Monroe, LA to David and Johnnie (Jordan) Byrd. She had worked as a beautician as well as being a wife, mother and homemaker. She enjoyed traveling, playing bingo, painting, piano and dogs. She was a member of Israel’s Gathering Community of Christ. She is survived by; her husband, Steve Maniscalco of the home; a daughter, Sandy Urelius and her husband Don of Houston, TX; a son, Bob Smalley of Houston, TX; 2 sisters, Madeline Ellis of Buckner, MO and Mary Chumbley and her husband Frank of Decker Prairie, TX; 8 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
