Freda “Tommie” Lorraine Mann, 89 of Independence, MO passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Wilshire at Lakewood. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 29, 2018 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 60455. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m., until service time at the chapel. Donations may be made in her name to the Pebble Creek Assembly of God 13800 E 51 St S, Kansas City, MO 64133. Tommie was born August 18, 1928 in Verona, MO to Earl and Aquilla (Johnson) Swadley. She had worked as a mail order filler for Montgomery Wards for over 25 years until she retired. She enjoyed spending time with family, children and church. She was a member of Pebble Creek Assembly of God. Survivors include; 2 daughters, Brenda Knowles and husband Richard of Blue Springs, MO and Inita Pries of Independence, MO; 2 grandchildren, Brian Knowles and wife Darlene of Kansas City, MO and Melannie Reynolds and husband Robert of Blue Springs, MO and 4 great grandchildren, Gabby Dedrick, Mallorie Reynolds and Kallie Reynolds and Keegan Hay. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Paul Mann in 2011 and 4 siblings.
