Ronald Manuel

Ronald E. Manuel, 90, of Independence, MO passed away May 23, 2010 at the Rosewood Health Center. Mr. Manuel’s body was donated to the University of Kansas Medical Center. A memorial service will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 5, at the Groves Community Room. Contributions may be made to Outreach International. Ronald was born January 23, 1920 in Hunter, OK to Charles and Edna (Scott) Manuel. He was a full time minister for the Community of Christ from 1953 until his retirement in 1985. Ronald was preceded in death by his loving wife, Marian Manuel; and grandson, Ethan McDowell. He is survived by one daughter, Margaret McDowell; one son, Evan Manuel; four grandchildren, Jeff Manuel, Ryan Manuel, Jamie Manuel and Aaron McDowell; as well as one great grandson, Grayson Manuel.
