Frances Marilyn Stewart passed away peacefully on May 13, 2025, at the age of 82 in Overland Park, KS. Born on December 30, 1 942, Frances was known for her vibrant sense of humor and deep faith as a strong Christian woman.

Marilyn dedicated 28 years of her professional life to the Internal Revenue Service, where her diligence and dedication were appreciated by her colleagues. Marilyn attended LaCygne Elementary and LaCygne High School, which laid the foundations for her successful career and fulfilling personal life. Her commitment to faith was evident in her active participation at both Grain Valley and Blue Springs Baptist churches. Marilyn found joy in making blankets, sewing, and gardening. Her love for Bible studies further reflected her devotion to her faith.

She is survived by her daughter, Wendy Wilson; brothers, Gary and John Rhynerson; sister-in-law, Sharon Rhynerson; and many loving nieces and nephews. Marilyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Floyd Gene Stewart, her parents, John and Laura Frances Rhynerson, and sister-in-law, Johnetta Rhynerson.

Services to honor Marilyn’s life will be held at Carson Speaks Funeral Home. In memory of Marilyn and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Marilyn’s warmth, laughter, and kindness will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
