Mark Russell Davidson (March 4, 1960 – June 27, 2025)

It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Mark Russell Davidson, on June 27, 2025. Born on March 4, 1960, in Kansas City, Missouri, Mark lived a rich and generous life, throughout which he wore many hats: loving husband, devoted father, caring brother, adoring uncle, and doting grandpa. He was a salesman, carpenter, and handyman; he could teach you fly tying as readily as how to build a house. He was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman. He loved classic rock and country music. He was a light-hearted, fun-loving Christian—a kind man who never met a stranger he didn't call friend.

His kindness, humor, and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Mark is survived by his beloved wife, Sharon Davidson; his brother and sister, Marshall Davidson (Wendy Davidson) and Karen Jones (Dennis Jones); his three sons, Max Davidson (Jessica Davidson), Jake Davidson, and Luke Davidson; and his cherished granddaughters, Gracelynn and Everly Davidson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Wanda Davidson.

Please join us in a celebration of life on Saturday July 5, 2025, at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. Family will greet guest for a Visitation between the hours of 1-2pm. Funeral Service will begin at 2pm.
