Martha Kathryn Tuhy

Martha Kathryn "Kathy" Tuhy, 72, of Independence, Missouri, passed away on July 2, 2025. Born on August 19, 1952, in Independence, Kathy spent her life as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, cherishing her family above all else.

Kathy was known for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering dedication to those she loved. She built a beautiful life centered on family, creating countless cherished memories with her family.

Kathy is survived by her beloved husband, Stephen Tuhy, her son Chris Tuhy, and her daughter Donna Parker. She was the proud grandmother to ten grandchildren and the adoring great-grandmother to eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Andrea Tuhy, and her parents, Dave and Hughnell Mullendore.

Kathy’s legacy is one of love, strength, and family. Her caring spirit, infectious laughter, and the deep connections she built will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her.

Celebration of life will be announced by the family.
