Dennis Ray Martin, 63, of Independence, MO, passed peacefully at home on April 15, 2014. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2014, fro 2:00 - 5:00 pm, at Carson-Speaks Chapel. Dennis was born on October 20, 1950, to Rayford and Bobbie (Jackson) Martin in Kansas City, MO. He is preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Mark Martin. His is survived by his sons; Troy Ray Martin, Dustin Keith Martin, and Kyle Preston Martin; sisters, Brenda DePoortere and Beth Gunn; many nieces, nephews, an abundance of friends, along with his dogs, Freckles & Sadie.
