Marcella J. Miller-Martin, 84, of Buckner, MO, passed away, Tuesday morning at her residence. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 25, 2014 at the Buckner Hill Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Friday at the Village Heights Community of Christ, 1009 Farview Dr., Independence, MO 64056. Donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Research Foundation. Marcella was born June 3, 1930 in DeWitt, MO to Clemmie and Ruby (Winfrey) Jenkins. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed making quilts, golfing, fishing, rock collecting and was a pecan grower. She was a member of Oakland Methodist Church. She is survived by; her husband, Cleo Martin, Jr. of the home; 2 sons, Claude Miller and his wife Leona of Kansas City, MO and Clifford Miller of Buckner, MO; 3 step children, Jack Martin and wife Becky of Independence, MO, Jill Martin of Kansas City, MO and Janet Hughes and husband John of Independence, MO; a sister, Betty Harra Graff of Independence, MO; 1 grandchild, Megan Miller; 2 great grandchildren, Devlan and Remi Miller; 5 step grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by; her 1st husband Gordon Lee Miller in 1991; a son, Cameron Lee Miller in 2007, parents, 3 sisters, Connie, Pauline and Ivy and 2 brothers, Carl and C.L.
