Michael Martin

Michael V. Martin, 64, of Independence, MO passed away in his sleep on Sunday, January 3, 2010 at his home. A memorial visitation will be held from 5-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 6, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO. Michael was born September 9, 1945 in Odessa, MO to Marion and Katherine (Dollard) Martin. He was a lifetime member of the Galaxie Club of America. He was also a retired truck driver. Michael is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Marci Martin; their two sons, Michael Martin of Warrensburg and Mathew Martin of Independence, MO; sister, Martha Chushuk of Edwards, MO; two grandchildren, Dixie and Skyler Martin; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Richard Martin.
