Stella Martin

Stella Martin, 86, a lifelong resident of Independence, MO, died Friday, February 22, 2008 at the Golden Living Center in Independence. Graveside services will be at 11:00 am, Thursday, February 28, at the Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville, MO. Ms. Martin had been a supervisor with AT&T for many years and was once honored by the American Business Women’s Association as the “Woman of the Year.” Stella is survived by her two children; daughter, Joyce Arnelle Rose, of Blue Springs, MO, and son James Robert Martin, Independence; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and other loving relatives.
