Mary Ann Blasko

Mary Ann Blasko passed away peacefully on July 3, 2025. Mary Ann was born on February 9, 1953, in Cleveland, Ohio to Joseph and Rita (Nemecek) Blasko. 

She graduated from Nazareth Academy and went on to The University of Akron where she performed as a pianist and received a Bachelors Degree in music. She went to Cleveland State University for post-doctoral studies. 

Mary Ann worked for Mika Enterprises for many years. She loved traveling, her pets, and hosting meals for friends and family at her house. She had the opportunity to visit loved ones in different states all across the country. She made many memories while traveling, always by car and with her dog. 

She was a very outspoken person who always did what she believed was right. Her strong sense of morals and quirky personality are something everyone will always remember about her. She was fierce, independent, and an amazing person who was a stellar piano player and someone who was always willing to lend a hand to friends and neighbors. She will be dearly missed.

Mary Ann is survived by her brother, Danny (Darla) and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph E. and mother Rita; and brothers, Robert and Joseph. She was an aunt, cousin and friend to many.
