Mary Frances Andes

Mary F. (Massood) Andes born August 5th, 1922 passed November 17th, 2024.

Husband Leo Andes precedes her.

Mary had many hobbies but particularly enjoyed spending her free time hand-crafting and painting ceramics. She adored her family and hosting large family dinners where many cherished memories were made.

Six sisters, one brother. Last sister, Martha Winright passed in 2023 at the age of 104 years old. Mary is the last of her generation in both the Massood and the Andes family.

Four children, Rosemary Hackett, John Andes, Jim Andes, Randy Andes. Ten grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. 

Mary retired from Lake City Army Ammunitions Plant in Independence over 40 years ago. Visitation will be held 9-10 am followed by a 10 am service at Speaks Suburban Chapel Thursday November 21st, 2024, followed by burial at Mt. Washington Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
