CAROLYN SUSAN MAUCK
C. Susan Mauck was called home by her beloved Jesus Christ Friday, July 15, 2011. A celebration of Susan’s life will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 21, 2011 at South Crysler Restoration Branch; 16101 E. Salisbury Rd. Independence, MO. Burial to follow at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Speaks Suburban Chapel; 18020 E. 39th St. Independence, MO. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Lunch Partners.
Susan was born May 18, 1955 in Leavenworth, KS, the daughter of John Joseph, Sr., and Dorothy Carolyn (Mackinlay) Reddis. Susan was a member of the Grain Valley Community of Christ congregation, and her lifelong passion was sharing the word of Christ and seeing His kingdom on earth go forth. Susan was married to Jack Mauck on November 3, 1978. Together they have owned Farview Veterinary Hospital in Independence for the past 27 years.
She is survived by her husband Jack of the home; daughter, Jaclyn Enderle and husband Chuck, son Joseph Mauck; grandchildren Benjamin, and Susanna Enderle all of Independence; sister, Alexandra Reddis; brothers, John, Chris, Paul and David Reddis and additional nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Susan’s joyful spirit, infectious smile and generous heart will be greatly missed by all for she is truly an irreplaceable jewel.
