Kenneth Joseph “Kenny” Mayden, 48, lifelong resident of Independence, MO died May 31, 2008. A visitation will be from 9-11:00 AM, Tuesday, June 3 at St. Mark’s Catholic Church, 3736 Lee’s Summit Rd., Independence, with a prayer service beginning at 11:00 AM. Graveside services will be at 3:00 PM at Carrollton Oak Hill Cemetery, Carrollton, MO.
Kenny is survived by his parents, Art and Sharon Kavanaugh; sisters, Terri (Mayden) Klimek and husband Kurt of Chicago, IL and Ginna (Mayden) Bloss and husband Greg, nephew Connor Bloss, and niece Taylor Bloss of Blue Springs; step-brothers, Ed Kavanaugh and wife Rose of Peoria, IL, Dennis Kavanaugh and Linda Byrd of Murphysboro, TN, and Jon Kavanaugh and wife Sherrie of Cordova, IL; aunt Linda Magness of Monticello, AR; cousins, Ashley Hawkins and family of Monticello, AR and Wade Magness and family of Memphis, TN; and a host of extended family and friends.
