Julie Serene (Williams) McChesney, 60, of Independence, MO entered into eternal life Saturday, June 11, 2011 with her family by her side. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64052. Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at Carson-Speaks. Burial in Mound Grove Cemetery. Julie was born March 6, 1951 in Phoenix, AZ the adopted daughter of Bill and Thelma (Cox) Williams. She was united in marriage to Dale Leroy McChesney on June 13, 1970. Mrs. McChesney is survived by her husband Dale; children Billy McChesney (Betty), Chris McChesney (Melissa), Dawn Garrett (Paul); grandchildren Aaron, Shawn, Jessie, Kylie, Angie and Michelle; by her brother Emmett Conrow (Fina).
