Martha T. "Penny� McCullough, 85, Harper�s Ferry, WV, formerly of the Kansas City area, passed away Aug. 1, 2006. Committal services will be 10 am, Sat., Aug. 12, 2006 at Mound Grove Cemetery. The family suggests contributions to her church: Williams Memorial United Methodist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 62, Shennandoah Jct. WV 25442.
Penny was born Sept. 28, 1920 in Pleasanton, KS. She graduated from William Chrisman High School, Ottawa University, received her registered nurses training at the Independence Sanitarium, and received her Masters Degree from Webster University. She was a nurse for the Shawnee Mission School District for 27 years, retiring in 1984.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold McCullough. She is survived by daughter Catherine Smith-Fish and husband Jerry Fish, Harper�s Ferry, WV; daughter Maureen McCullough, Independence, MO; son Fred McCullough, Lee�s Summit, MO; daughter Joanne Dow and husband David, Effingham, IL; sisters Eva Cook and Jean Pement, seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
