Patti Jane Mccullough

Patti Jane McCullough, 81, Independence, MO died Feb. 13, 2007 in the company of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 am, Friday Feb. 16, 2007 at St. Mary�s Catholic Church in Independence; interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 pm and a Rosary/Prayer service at 6 pm, Thursday at Speaks Suburban Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to the St. Mary�s Altar Society.
She was born Patti Jane Sanders in Joplin, MO on Dec. 15, 1925 and grew up in Joplin, Noel and Pittsburg, KS. She was married to her late husband of 50 years, Melvin in March, 1944 and had four children. Patti was retired from AT&T and was a member of St. Mary�s Catholic Church in Independence for 51 years. She was active in the Altar and Rosary Society, a recipient of the Bishop�s Award for service to the church and an Oblate Member of Conception Abbey.
Patti is survived by daughter Melvalynn Wallace, of the home; sons Michael Lee McCullough and wife Genia, Lee�s Summit, MO; Stephen Ray McCullough and wife Donna, Omaha, NE; Mark Wayne McCullough, San Diego, CA; sister Marjorie Gohring, Fulton, MO; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
