Mary Pat Mcdermott (Kelly)

Mary Pat McDermott, 80, of Independence, MO passed away April 27, 2015. A visitation will be held from 10-11:00 a.m. followed by an 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, May 1, at St. Mark’s Catholic Church. Burial will be held at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Raytown, MO. Mary was born September 8, 1934 in Kansas City, MO to George and Mildred (Maturo) Kelly. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bernard McDermott, Sr.; and one brother, Dr. Joseph George Kelly. She is survived by one son, Bernard McDermott, Jr.; two daughters, Kelly Freeland (Arthur) and Michelle Rogers (Mike); and three grandchildren, Lucas, Maureen and Allison Freeland.
