Larry McGeehan, 49, Independence, MO passed away Monday August 10, 2009 at Kansas City Hospice House.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday, August 17, 2009 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; 18020 E. 39th St. Independence, MO. Burial to follow at Leavenworth National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00-4:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Larry was born October 1, 1959 in Kansas City, MO the son of Edward J. and Patricia J. (Marshall) McGeehan. He attended Bishop Hogan School. Larry was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He had been employed with Gates and Sons as a Security Officer. Larry enjoyed playing darts, fishing, and hiking.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his children; Christina, Stephen, Tiffany, Daniell and Chrystall McGeehan, all of Blue Springs; sisters, Patricia Saunders and Teresa Terry; brothers, Edward, Michael, Thomas, Timothy and Gerald McGeehan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
