Kenneth Mchardy

Kenneth Ray McHardy, 94 of Independence, MO, passed away Sunday, May 4, 2008. Cremation is planned with a private family memorial service to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Blue Ridge Boulevard United Methodist Church. Kenneth was born to Mae and Kenneth John McHardy in Miles City, MT on October 22, 1913. He moved with his wife, Ethel of 72 years to the Kansas City area in 1937. He worked in the plastics industry as a co-owner of Kuhlman Plastics and later Imco Container. He is survived by his wife, Ethel and their daughter and son-in-law, Sandy And Larry Gutekunst, two grandchildren, Carrie and husband Gordon Wood and Kirk and wife Jennifer Gutekunst. He is also survived by four great grandchildren, Graham and Kenton Wood and Ben and Sophie Gutekunst, and many nieces and nephews.
