Gertrude Mcintosh Attebery Kidd

Gertrude C. McIntosh Attebery Kidd, 90 of Trenton, MO went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at the Kansas City Hospice House. Services will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, July 15, 2011 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel 18020 E. 39th Street, Independence, MO 64055. Burial will follow in the Mound Grove Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 12:00 p.m., until service time Friday at the chapel. Gertrude was born January 25, 1921 in Sugar Creek, MO to Walter and Ann (Chitnitz) McIntosh. She was a devoted wife mother and homemaker who enjoyed gardening, her dog and most of all spending time with her family. She had worked for over 28 years as a unit controller for Macy’s. Survivors include; a daughter, Sharon Rhoda and her husband John of Kansas City, MO; a son-in-law, Gary Haney of Quincy, IL; 2 grandchildren, Mark Haney and Robert Haney both of Quincy, IL. She was preceded in death by her first husband Harold Attebery, her 2nd husband, Clyde Kidd and a daughter, JoAnn Haney in 2007.
