Sharon Mclelland

Sharon G. McLelland, 70 of Independence, MO, passed away, Sunday, January 5, 2014 at Centerpoint Medical Center. Cremation is planned with no public services to be held. Sharon was born December 20, 1943 in Trenton, Mo to Gene and Frances (Rhoades) Carver. She had worked for 47 years for the Social Security Administration until she retired in 2011. She enjoyed reading and most of all spending time with her family. She is survived by; a daughter, Christine Williamson of Lee’s Summit, MO; a son, John McLelland of Raytown, MO; 4 sisters, Karen Willis of Galt, MO, Nedra Stephenson and husband David of Milan, MO, Patty Axtel and husband Bob of Trenton, MO and Brenda Hein and husband Dan of Spickard, MO; a brother, Rick Carver and wife Arveta of Galt, MO and 3 grandchildren, Jason McLelland, Michael Williamson, Jr. and Dakota McLelland.
