Juanita Mae (Thompson) McQuerry, 82, of Independence, MO peacefully passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at Centerpoint Medical Center surrounded by her family. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 30, 2009 at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington. Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Thursday in the chapel. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery. Juanita was born December 21, 1926 in Independence, MO to Louis and Nellie (Moberly) Thompson. Her life revolved around her family. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Juanita was a member of the Eden Heights Congregation of the RLDS Church. Mrs. McQuerry is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, James “Jim” McQuerry; daughter Linda Constable and husband Howard; sons Timothy McQuerry and wife Cindy; James L. McQuerry; James R. McQuerry and wife Diane; grandchildren Kelly, Matthew, Jacob, Tyler; great-grandchildren Luke and Sam; brother William Thompson and wife Alice.
