Fred Medlock

Fred S. “Steve” Medlock, 61, of Liberty, MO passed away Sunday, July 26, 2009 at North Kansas City Hospital after a battle with cancer. Steve was born August 23, 1947 in Kansas City, MO to Fred and Mary Esther (Wolfe) Medlock. He proudly served in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. Mr. Medlock was a Past Master of Swope Park Masonic Lodge. Steve worked construction out of Plumbers Local #8, and then as a Maintenance Pipe Fitter for Ford Motor Co. Mr. Medlock is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Fran Medlock; daughters Donna Newell, Stephanie Medlock; two grandchildren and a third due in September. Memorial Services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 30, 2009 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Wayside Waifs or UCP Sports Program (Cerebral Palsy Bowling League).
