Andrea Melton

Andrea Lee “Angie” (Krysa) Melton, 55, of Grain Valley, MO died at home Sept. 4, 2010. Services will be at 6 pm, Wed., Sept. 8, 2010 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th Street, Independence, MO. Visitation will follow the service from 7–9 pm. In lieu of flowers, Greg and Anthony request that everyone spend valuable time with their families.
Angie was born Sept. 7, 1954 in Kansas City, MO. She was the Food and Beverage Director at the Blue Springs County Club for seventeen years before serving in the same capacity at Lunar Bowl in Blue Springs for seven years. She loved to play poker.
Angie was preceded in death by her parents Steve and Genevieve (Puscal) Krysa and sister Gloria (Krysa) Mahurin She is survived by sons Anthony Melton; Greg Melton; grandchildren Colton, Maverick, Jarrette, Gairin and Britin; brothers Fred Krysa; Steve Krysa; plus several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. The family would like to give special thanks to Angie’s caretaker and friend Susie Shannon whose help over the last few weeks has been immeasurable.
