Frances M. Melugin

Frances M. Melugin, 79 of Blue Springs, MO passed away Mon. Jul 31, 2006 at St. Mary�s Manor. Services will be 10:00 am Sat. Aug 5, 2006 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Indep. MO 64055 with the visitation being held one hour prior to the service. Burial in Floral Hills Cemetery. Contributions are suggested to the Disabled American Veterans. Mrs. Melugin was born on Mar. 27, 1927 to Harley and Freda (Johns) Davis in Independence, MO. She and her husband, chuck were residences of Raytown, MO for over 50 years. She was a loving homemaker and a volunteer with the Veterans Administration working with the Disabled Veterans. She was a member of the Abiding Savior Lutheran Church and the Queen City DAV Chapter No. 10, where she had held many offices. Mrs. Melugin was preceded in death by her husband, Charles N. Melugin and a daughter, Vickie Sue Craddock. She is survived by two sons, David B. Melugin and wife Paula of Blue Springs, MO and Steven R. Melugin of Lewisville, TX. One brother, Virgil "Skip� Davis and his wife Gloria, of Grain Valley, MO, seven Grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Due to the weather, the family would like to encourage causal dress.
