Gary Ned Menichetti, 68, Kansas City, MO passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2010.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 16, 2010 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; 18020 E. 39th St. Independence, MO. Burial to follow at Mt. Washington Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
Gary was born September 11, 1942 in Pittsburg, KS the son of Levio and Goldie (King) Menichetti. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. Gary was employed with Orkin for 20 years, retiring in 2008 as a Compliance Officer. He enjoyed traveling, especially to Italy and golfing and was a member of the Staley Farms Golf Club.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.
Survivors include his wife, Marilyn of the home; daughter, Deborah L. Rodenbaugh; son David N. Menichetti; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
