Michael Patrick "Mike� Messina, 84, Independence, Mo. died Jan. 27, 2005 at Regency Care Center. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am, Monday Jan. 31, 2005 at Santa Fe Catholic Church, Buckner, MO. Mike was born July 10, 1920 in Buffalo, NY. He was preceded in death by his wife, Delores Messina. He is survived by daughter, Karen Bruns and husband Frank, Buckner, MO.; son Michael G. Messina and wife Patricia, West Bloomfield, MI.; brother Sam Messina, Williamsville, NY; sister Connie Messina, Buffalo, NY; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
