Duane Miller

Duane E. Miller, 89, of Kansas City, MO formerly of Ocala, FL, passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Cremation, no services scheduled. Duane was born November 7, 1918 in Beverton, MI to Floyd and Bertha (Brewer) Miller. He graduated from William Chrisman High School in 1938 and proudly served in the Army Air Corp during WWII. Mr. Miller was a Journeyman Plumber with the local #8 Union before retiring to Ocala, FL. Duane loved the Lord and was a faithful member of the Restoration Branch of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He is survived by his sons Gary Miller of Raytown, Terry Miller and wife Judy of Kansas City, Philip Miller of Ocala, FL; grandchildren Donald Miller, Leslie Connor and husband Ray, Kimberley Stamper and husband Dana of Independence, Malinda Miller of Kansas City, Jeremy Miller of Ocala, FL; great-grandchildren Lauren, Cole and Legend Connor; sister Shirley Etzenhauser of Elizabeth City, NC. Duane was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years Shirley (Goold) Miller; and by three brothers, Russell, Ronald and Clare Miller.
