Floyd Marvin Miller, 77, Lake Tapawingo, MO passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2013.
Floyd was born March 21, 1935 in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada the son of George and Olga (Sandry) Miller. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. Floyd retired from Bayer Industries as engineering purchasing manager in 1998. He served as city councilman for Lake Tapawingo and water safety instructor for the American Red Cross. Floyd was a former elder with the RLDS Church. He enjoyed tennis, woodworking, photography, gardening, and trout fishing.
Survivors include his wife Pat of 51 years; son, Kevin A. Miller and wife Michelle; daughters, Lory E. Rodak and husband Michael, Nicole D. Lewis and husband Toby; grandchildren, Ashley, Jessika, Sarah, Ian, and Jacob; sisters, Audrey and husband Dr. Wayne Custead, Iris and husband Bruce Logeman; and additional nieces, nephews, and family. Floyd was preceded in death by his parents. A gathering to celebrate Floyd’s life will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Outreach International.
