James “Mouse” Miller, 67, of Independence, MO passed away August 15, 2008 at North Kansas City Hospital. A visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. The service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the chapel. James was born July 22, 1941 to Wayne and Anne B. (Campbell) Miller. He was an iron worker until an injury in 1976. In 2007 he retired as a department manager for Westlake Hardware. James was also a proud member and past president of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Sugar Creek # 3717. He also served as a member of the Eagle’s ritual team. He is survived by his soul mate and life companion, Cheryl Luethje; two sons, Michael W. Miller and Scott J. Miller; mother, Anne B. Miller; three brothers, Roland, Bob and Bill Miller; three stepchildren; four granddaughters; and five great grandchildren.
