Linda was born December 16, 1943 in Columbia, MO as one of two children to Roswell and Frances (Jenkins) Wayne. She attended Buffalo High School until her family relocated to Osceola where she graduated high school. She attended University of Missouri as well as Southwest Baptist University. Linda married her beloved Terry Allen Miller on April 16, 1977. She worked at Price Candy Company until 1979. Linda was a devoted wife and mother who strongly supported her husband’s business. She was his bookkeeper at Miller Custom Shutters until their retirement in 2010. They have been members of the church for 37 years. Linda led many to Christ’s calling including all of those in her husband’s family. She never complained despite her ailments, loved everyone, and humbly served all she loved with a Christ like heart.
She is survived by husband of 37 years, Terry of the home; stepson, Brett Houston Miller (Janette Kay) of Lee’s Summit, MO; grandchildren, Amanda Madelyn and Mackenzie Miller and Matthew Nigro; sister, Rosalind Phillips (Paul) of Falls Church, VA; niece, Laura Barghaan (Dennis); and great-niece, Ashley Barghaan. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Sarah Nigro; and grandson, Anthony. The family encourages contributions to Olathe Hospice House in her memory.
