Johanna Minson

Johanna Elfriede Minson, 78, of Independence, MO passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at Maywood Terrace Living Center. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 4, 2009 at Carson-Speaks Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10-11:00 a.m. in the chapel. Burial in Swan Lake Memory Gardens. Johanna was born October 13, 1930 in Danzing, Germany. Mrs. Minson is survived by her husband of 34 years, Elmer Minson, Jr.; daughter Brigitta Prossdorf; grandchildren Gerald Porter and wife Amy, Shelly Brewer and fiancé Ron Pruitt; great-grandchildren Anna, Jacob, Molly, Drew, Zach, Brianna and Gabe; by a sister Ruth Prossdorf; special friend Clara Smittle; and by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends here and in Germany.
