Margaret Mohr

Margaret Anne Mohr, 87 of Blue Springs, MO passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at her residence. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, March 9, 2012 at St. Mark’s Catholic Church, 3636 Lee’s Summit Rd., Independence, MO 64055. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. A Rosary will be recited at 10:00 Friday morning at the church. Donations may be made to St. Mark’s Catholic Church. Margaret was born September 14, 1924 in Kansas City, MO and has bee a life long area resident graduating from St. Theresa’s Academy in 1941. She was a devoted with mother and homemaker and owned and operated Olson’s Shoe Store in Independence for a number of years. She was a member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church. She was married to Richard Mohr on April 4, 1947; he preceded her in death on September 1, 1969. Survivors include; 2 daughters, Kathy Hennessey and husband Michael and Mary Mohr and husband Patrick Smith; a grandson, Shaun Hennessey and wife Elissa; 2 great grandchildren, Caleb Hennessey and Alexis Hennessey and 3 sisters.
