Edward C. Moore, 77, Independence, MO passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2010 after a short battle with cancer.
Graveside services will be 10:30 AM Saturday, May 22, 2010 at Woodlawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
Ed was born February 2, 1933 in Independence, MO the son of William David and Una Louisa (Nazer) Moore. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. Ed was employed as a computer programmer with the City of Independence Power and Light; Jackson County and retired from Western Auto.
He was preceded in death by his brother, William Moore; sister, Inez Craig.
Survivors include his loving wife of 45 years, Bertha Louise Moore; and numerous nieces and nephews.
