William Frederick Moore, 80, Kansas City, MO passed away Thursday, March 28, 2013.
Fred was born in Nemaha County, NE the son of Howard and Velma Moore. He graduated from the University of Kansas City School of Dentistry in 1958 and operated his dental practice in the Hickman Mills area until his retirement. Fred was active in the Rotary Club and a member of the Community Christian Church. He enjoyed all the outdoors had to offer; gardening, fishing, and hunting.
Survivors include his wife, Violet Eggleston-Moore; daughters, Laura Moore, Julia Mullin, and Nancy Shikles; and five grandchildren. Fred was preceded in death by his first wife, Bettie and their daughter, Julie Deanne.
Memorial services will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 13, 2013 at the Community Christian Church, Bonfils Chapel; 4601 Main St., Kansas City, MO 64112. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Amyloidosis Foundation, Inc., 7151 N. Main St. Suite 2, Clarkston, MI 48346. www.amyloidosis.org/support/index.html
