Felix Mora Sr

Felix F. Mora, 91, Independence, MO, died April 28, 2012. Services will be 10 am, Wed. at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055; interment with Full Military Honors at Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Tuesday at the chapel.
Felix was born July 2, 1920 in Richmond, TX. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WW II. He worked for General Motors and retired in 1982. He was a hard-working man who raised eleven children. He loved watching sports: baseball, football and basketball.
Felix was preceded in death by daughter Katherine Rios. He is survived by his children: Felix Mora, Jr. (Mella) of Kansas City North, MO; Cindy Hammond (Ron) of Independence, MO; Eva Best of Grain Valley, MO; Tom Mora (Tammy) of Independence, MO; Steve Mora of Grain Valley, MO; Michael Rios of Virginia Beach, VA; Nancy Rios of Independence, MO; Sandra Curry (Jan) of Dunlap, IL; Melissa Williams of Independence, MO; Melinda Fitzmaurice of Independence, MO; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
