Frances Louise Moran (Hibbard)

Frances Louise Moran, 79, of Independence, MO, passed away March 11, 2015. Visitation will be Saturday, March 21, 2015, from 1-2 pm. Funeral Services will follow at 2pm at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Louise was born on June 18, 1935 in Independence, MO to Edward and Mary Frances (Barnhard) Hibbard. Louise graduated from William Chrisman High School. She had a passion for reading, which prompted her to start the first library at Christian Ott Elementary School. Louise delighted in sharing her passion for reading with others. She enjoyed music, bowling, and playing Canasta. Louise enjoyed traveling with her husband, especially to Hawaii. Spending time with her family was the most important thing to Louise Survivors include; her husband of 60 years, Robert Moran; daughters Robyn Maune (William), Jane Brooks (Sam), and Margaret Cox; son David Moran (Susan); sister Ailene Hibbard; grandchildren Natalie Cole (Mark), Christopher Maune (Sarah), Gretchen Maune, Emily Brooks, and Daniel Moran; one great grandchild, Katharine Cole.
