Juanita J. Morris, 59, of Independence, MO passed away February 12, 2010 at Centerpoint Medical Center.
A visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 17, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, at the chapel with burial to follow at Greenton Cemetery, Odessa, MO.
Juanita was born August 18, 1950 in Marshfield, MO to Harlin and Edna (Rowden) Burks.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harlin H. Burks; brother, Harlin S. Burks; and one sister, Marguarett Stefancik.
Juanita is survived by her loving husband, Robert Morris; one son, Mike Hensley and wife Tina of Independence, MO; grandson, Chris Hensley, Independence, MO; granddaughter, Amber Hensley, Independence, MO; mother, Edna Smith and husband Daniel of Lexington, MO; six sisters, Lillie Jennings, Mayview, MO, Sue Smith, Independence, MO, Tanya Jancek, Independence, MO, Jena Dover, Kansas City, MO, Mary Dale Hembree, Republic, MO, Linda Lakey, Republic, MO; four brothers, Lester Burks, Springfield, MO, Dwayne Burks, Independence, MO, Randy Burks, Allen, TX, and Kenny Burks, Springfield, MO. She will be dearly missed.
