Mildred P. Morris

Mildred P. Morris, 94, of Independence, MO passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2005. Services will be 1:30 pm Friday, January 14th at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave; with interment in Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 12:30 pm until service time. Mildred was born November 16, 1910 in Harrison, AR to Frank and Rosa Stacy. She was devoted to her family. A loving Christian mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be missed by all her family and friends. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Walter H. Morris; a grandson, R.J. Edgar; 2 brothers and a sister. She is survived by her children, Mary Burke of North Kansas City, MO, Loretta Beard of Mulberry, KS, Charles Morris of Independence, MO, Gloria Kelly of Lone Jack, MO, Patrick Morris of Independence, MO, Maria Morris of Leavenworth, KS; 27 grandchildren; 45 great grandchildren; 18 great great grandchildren; sister, Jewel Garner of Belton, MO.
