Patricia Morris

Patricia A. Morris, 81, Blue Springs, MO passed away July 7, 2011. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm, Sat., July 16 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th Street, Independence, MO 64055; cremation. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the Grain Valley Athletic Assoc.
Patricia was born in Clarksburg, W.VA. on Jan. 17, 1930. She worked at the Lake Lotawana Association was the Vice President of the Lake Lotawana Development Company for thirty-five years. She was a very humorous person who loved to play cards, especially blackjack. She also enjoyed the TV shows “American Idol” and “Big Brother”. She was a regular at Vesper Hall in Blue Springs where she took part in activities with other seniors. She was a member of the Lake Lotawana Community Church.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband Capt. Harl Morris in 2005. She is survived by daughters Renee Summers, Sierra Vista, AZ; Tracy Summers-Case and husband Neal Case, Blue Springs, MO; son Ken Morris, Odessa, MO; sister Kathleen Luliette, Clarksburg, W. VA; grandchildren Mistey Hines, Blue Springs, MO; Daniel O’Dell, Jr. and fiancé Maci Grice, Grain Valley, MO; Kevin Morris; Lindsay Morris, both of Odessa, MO; Michael Summers; Dominiqe Summers; great-grandchildren Sadie & Trey Hines and D.J. O’Dell and Olivia Kerr
