Clyde Earl “Tony” Murdock, 79 of Raytown, MO passed away Thursday, April 8, 2021 at St. Luke’s East Hospital in Lee’s Summit, MO. The family will greet friends from 10-12:00 p.m., Thursday, April 22, 2021 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055 followed by a private family graveside service at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, MO. Tony was born July 4, 1941 in Foster, MO to John Wesley and Etta Mildred (Murphy) Murdock. He had worked as a home remodeler for most of his career and enjoyed playing BINGO, hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Optimist Club. He proudly served in the US Army during the Bay of Pigs. Survivors include; his wife Francine Murdock of the home; a daughter, Rose Murdock of Raytown, MO; a sister, Juanita King of Ontario, Canada. He was preceded in death by his parents and 9 siblings.
